The Circle of Inspiration is a way to support cancer research while sharing the inspiring stories related to the cancer journeys of members of the extended Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF) family— and to honor individuals whose cancer diagnosis served as an opportunity to help others and advance the ICRF’s search for cures and life-extending treatments. Together, they are true beacons of light in scary and dark moments.

At their essence, Heroes of Inspiration members inspire us with their stories; Champions of Hope give us hope through their impactful legacies, and the Inspiration Society ensures the work of ICRF will continue for years to come. Check back often for new inspiration.

Inspirational Heroes

Inspirational Heroes are people/those (individually or together with their family) whose cancer story, however big or small, powerfully demonstrate the virtues of strength, courage, perseverance and determination, and whose stories are a source of inspiration to others.

Champions of Hope

The Champions of Hope award will recognize individuals who went beyond their own diagnosis and personal circumstances to become a recognized advocate, fundraiser, clinician/researcher, or lay leader in the fight against this dreadful disease, or those who, while they may never have had cancer, have made a truly outsized contribution in support of cancer awareness, treatment, or research. Champions of Hope award winners’ contributions must be substantial and sustained.
