Technion, Israel Institute of Technology

ICRF Research Career Development Award Recipient

ICRF is currently supporting several projects in this area of cancer treatment. Meet one of the currently funded researchers below:

Dr. Zinger, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, develops nanoparticles to mimic the natural ways in which white blood cells target cancer and inflammation. His plan is to develop new, biomimetic nanotechnology that will inhibit and limit tumor propagation, which he and his team will test in a mouse model of triple negative breast cancer. His ultimate goal is to provide the foundation for biomimetic nanoparticles that may be used to treat many other cancer types.
