Honoree

Jerry Silber

Jerry serves as Chair of the Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF) Connecticut chapter and is a member of the ICRF International Board of Trustees. He helped plan the first Earth Day in New York City and was a founder of the environmental organization that successfully piloted the city’s recycling program. He led Citibank’s March of Dimes campaign raising $30 million over twelve years. Jerry is a founder of People Friendly Stamford, a citizen advocacy group seeking to transform Stamford into a safer place for walkers and cyclists. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the American Jewish Committee’s Westchester/Fairfield region.
