Guest Speaker

We are honored to welcome Robin Page as the Cuisine for a Cure guest speaker.

Robin was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in 2008 and received Chemotherapy (Abraxane), Herceptin and had a bilateral mastectomy in 2009. At the same time, she also made profound lifestyle changes to support her healing. Currently, she has no visible active disease and receives no medicine-based intervention.

She received her B.S. degree in physical therapy from Boston University, Sargent College of Allied Health in 1992. She has worked as a physical therapist at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in the general acute setting, Children’s Memorial Hospital (Lurie) and Arlington Pediatric Therapy. Her continuing education focuses on building strength, improving alignment and restoring functional mobility. She became a certified wellness coach through Wellcoaches.

The Cancer Wellness Podcast is in production and will be hosted by Robin Page. The vision of this podcast is that every person has the information to support their body the best way they can after being diagnosed with cancer. This podcast will share knowledge by experts in the field and guest speakers, as well as inspirational stories of how wellness choices impacted their quality of life after a cancer diagnosis.

Robin developed Core Life Cancer Wellness that combines physical therapy, wellness coaching and therapeutic massage to meet the needs of people seeking a whole-body approach to healing from a cancer diagnosis. Robin combined her 20 years of experience as a physical therapist with her passion for wellness coaching to form a unique client-driven program.
