Join Israel Cancer Research Fund in funding the future of cancer research this Giving Tuesday on November 30, 2021! Giving Tuesday is an annual global day of giving that strives to unleash a wave of generosity through actions both big and small.

This year, our goal is to raise $18,000 by the end of the day to seed the launch the ICRF Grant Writing Workshop.

Exceptional grant writing is key for a scientist’s path to success. It’s critical for receiving funding for their research, but it isn’t necessarily taught in schools. This vital new program, proposed by the ICRF Scientific Review Panel, will enhance the quality of proposals our scientists submit and help ensure that no deserving cancer research project in Israel goes unfunded.

Drs. Matt Weitzman of The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and David Malkin of The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, who both serve on the ICRF International Scientific Council, will graciously dedicate their time and expertise to running workshops for our new scientists in the art of writing scientific research grants. However, there are ancillary funds necessary to allow our current and future recipients to attend. We believe that our investment in these grant writing workshops will pay off exponentially in the quality of future grant submissions and the life-saving science they represent.
