Couture for a Cure

A heartfelt thank you for supporting Couture for a Cure. The fashions were breathtaking and Grace’s journey with breast cancer is truly inspirational. We wish her the very best in her ongoing battle against this disease.

Guest Speaker: Grace Lombardo

Grace Lombardo is a 2016 breast cancer survivor and is currently in her second battle with the disease. After her initial diagnosis, Grace started writing a blog #Grancer (Grace + cancer = Grancer) that has garnered over 550k views and has helped women and their families around the world grapple with and understand their diagnoses.

Grace has traveled the world as a public speaker and advocate. She is the protagonist of the documentary short GRACE, which follows her process of getting a mastectomy tattoo.

Grace’s mission is to connect with survivors and co-survivors in an effort to educate and show them that they are not alone.

Grace is the mother to three children ages 13, 11 & 8. She is a birth doula and currently works in the special education department of a local North Shore elementary school.
