Israel Cancer Research Fund’s 50th Anniversary Campaign

Since its founding in 1975, Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF) has been at the forefront of groundbreaking science. ICRF’s founders, comprised of physicians, scientists, and philanthropists recognized Israel’s potential as a global scientific leader. With brilliant minds from an abundant amount of countries generating and inspiring some of the most innovative ideas, the founders knew that Israel was the optimal place to convene and enhance the world’s scientific community with the important goal of finding a cure for cancer.

Today, ICRF is the largest nongovernmental entity funding cancer research in Israel — and with your help, it will continue to be for years to come.

In our 50th year we will surpass $100 million invested in grants to Israel’s most promising scientists as they bring us closer to a cancer-free future. ICRF’s focus is on early-stage research and our scientists have been involved in significant discoveries in all aspects of cancer. This includes treatment, early detection, and prevention, and these findings have become part of the basis for new breakthroughs across the globe.

Now, as we prepare to usher in the next half century of advancement, we’re launching a 50th Anniversary Campaign to secure Israel’s legacy as a world leader in the fight against cancer — and your legacy as a steward and visionary for a better world.
