GALA TO HONOR DR. WALTER GOTLIEB
ICRF Montreal is pleased to honor one of their highly esteemed Scientific board members Dr. Walter Gotlieb on May 16th at Places Des Arts. Dr. Gotlieb will receive the Scientific Achievement Award at the 29th annual Gala. This exciting event will feature Grammy Award winner The Pointer Sisters with special guests Switchback starring Gala chair Jeff Solomon. All sponsors and benefactors are invited to a Pre Show Cocktail Reception. Tickets for this eagerly anticipated are in great demand, so for those interested in attending, it is strongly advised that you contact the ICRF Montreal sooner than later.
Local Research Grants
In support of the local medical research community, ICRF allocates funds raised towards in association with local hospitals including the Montreal Jewish General, the Montreal Children's Hospital, and St. Justine's.
More specifically, the scientists ICRF funds at the McGill Translational Centre under the direction of Dr. Gerald Batist are conducting molecular and gene research focusing on the root cause of many types of cancers including leukemia, lung, breast & colon.
